1. Information We Collect
a. Account & Profile Information
When you create an account, we may collect and store:
- Email address (used for OTP authentication)
- Authentication identifiers from Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In
- Username, full name, biography
- Profile image (avatar) and cover image
- Preferred language and country code
- Premium status flag (subscription entitlement)
Note: Email addresses are handled via authentication providers (Supabase Auth, Google, Apple) and are not publicly visible.
b. Location Information
TuneSpot provides location-based social features. We may collect and store:
- Precise location data (latitude and longitude) when you create or interact with location-based content
- Derived location data such as country, city, and district names
Location data is used solely to enable core App features such as Pins, Routes, and discovery functionality.
c. User-Generated Content
We collect and store content you voluntarily create, including:
- Pins, Routes, and Route Pins
- Text descriptions, comments, and likes
- Follow relationships
- Music-related metadata (e.g., artist names, track references, lists)
- Uploaded images related to your profile or content
d. Images & Media Storage
User-uploaded images (including avatars, cover images, and content-related images) are stored in secure cloud storage buckets managed by us via Supabase Storage. Only references (URLs) to these files are stored in the database.
e. Device & Usage Data
We may automatically collect:
- Device type and operating system
- IP address
- App usage data and interaction logs
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics
f. Payments & Subscriptions
TuneSpot offers paid subscriptions. All payments are processed by:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
We do not collect or store credit card or payment details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Enable social and location-based features
- Display user-generated content
- Manage subscription entitlements
- Send notifications and service-related messages
- Improve performance, security, and user experience
- Provide customer support
3. Legal Basis for Processing (Global Users)
We process personal data based on:
- Your consent
- Performance of a contract (providing the App)
- Legitimate interests (security, analytics, improvement)
- Legal obligations where applicable

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:

- App Store and Google Play for subscription management

Account deletion removes your profile, associated content, and stored images (such as avatars and covers), subject to technical and legal limitations.
